The parameterization capability is one of the most significant advantages of SolidFace, and it is present in all design steps. 3D Motion simulation is no different; the simulation is updated simultaneously with the movement. Directly available through SolidFace´s software interface, this new online part library features over 100 million part numbers from hundreds of leading component manufacturers and distributors and thousands of ISO, ANSI, DIN, NF, GB, ASME, and more standards.

3D Parts

Design simple or complex solid and surface models using top-down or bottom-up methodologies. Feel the design intent with inter-part building, allowing the design of multiple parts in the part module. 3D Assemblies

Create complex and detailed assemblies with built-in standard hardware and parts linked from other projects or libraries. Create movement simulations and test collision. Design parts in-context and manage updates efficiently. SolidFace unique parametric capabilities and collaboration module eliminate the problem of broken links and missing files.

Drawings

Automatically creates drawing with parametric reference for modeling features that can be edited in a very simple and interactive way. This is an in-house developed module and fully integrated with the 3D module. Showcase detailed drawings of parts and assemblies with dimensions, datums, surface finish and weld symbols, geometric tolerances, notes, tables, balloons, callouts, sheets and fully configurable drawing properties. Supports import and export of D WG, DWT and DXF file formats.

Bill of Materials

A set of attributes is comprised by a group of data that defines material information, rules, denomination etc, about Parts or project details. This information can be processed later with the aim of generating a List of Data in the graphic screen, or that were saved in an external file.
